EPIC Racing Weekend opens a new chapter in circuit racing in Spain.

March 12, 2026

EPIC Championships begins a new chapter in circuit racing in Spain with the launch of EPIC Racing Weekend, the new event format that will take over from Racing Weekend starting in the 2026 season.

EPIC Championships is born in 2026 as the brand that unites championships, events, and motorsport experiences under a shared identity. Its structure includes competitions such as the Spanish Formula 4 Championship, Eurocup-3, and the Spanish Winter Championship, which have become established as leading platforms worldwide in the development and promotion of single-seater drivers.

After years of experience organizing top-level competitions, the creation of EPIC responds to the goal of consolidating a sports platform that combines talent development, high-level competition, and the creation of events that bring motorsport closer to new audiences.

Under this philosophy, EPIC Racing Weekend is born, a format that aims to offer much more than just racing, combining on-track action with activities and experiences designed for fans, families, and motorsport enthusiasts, with the goal of establishing itself as one of the major motorsport events in Spain.

The 2026 calendar will consist of five events held at some of the country’s major circuits: Valencia, MotorLand Aragón, Jerez, Navarra, and Barcelona. Three of these events — Valencia, Jerez, and Barcelona — will once again feature NAPA as the strategic partner of the project and will be renamed EPIC NAPA Racing Weekend, continuing a collaboration that has developed over the last three years and has been key to the growth of the format.

EPIC Championships takes over the project following the phase driven by the Real Federeación Española de Automovilismo, whose efforts were crucial in revitalizing activity at the circuits and bringing motorsport closer to the public. Since its creation, Racing Weekend has attracted nearly 300,000 spectators to Spanish circuits, reflecting the growth of the format and its establishment as one of the key events in national motorsport. Building on that legacy, EPIC now begins a new phase with the goal of continuing to develop the format and solidifying EPIC Racing Weekend as a motorsport reference in Spain.
